DESCRIPTION:In the matter of Petition seeking (a) clarification of the Tariff Order dated 26.03.2020 in Case No. 1837 of 2019 that the reactive energy charges specified in para 5.3 of the Tariff Order is applicable to the renewable energy projects only in situation where they have drawn such reactive energy for consumption during low grid voltage thereby endangering grid stability; and (b) quashing the demand of Rs. 1.56 crores towards reactive power charges raised by the Respondent No. 1 GETCO in respect of: (i) 35 MW PV Solar Plant established by the Petitioner at Jaloya\, Gujarat vide invoice dated 23/03/2021 for amount of Rs. 15\,17\,250/- for the period from February 2019 to January 2020 and invoice dated 31/03/2021 for amount of Rs. 83\,03\,400/- for the period from February 2020 to January 2021; (ii)30 MW PV Solar Plant established by the Petitioner at Pipardi\, Gujarat vide invoice dated 31/03/2021 for amount of Rs. 46\,94\,550/- for period from February 2020 to January 2021; (iii) 35 MW PV Solar Plant established by the Petitioner at Rojasar\, Gujarat vide invoice dated 31/03/2021 for amount of Rs. 11\,37\,150/- for period from February 2020 to January 2021.
