DESCRIPTION:In the matter of Petition under Section 86 of the Electricity Act\, 2003 read with Regulations 23\, 80 & 82 of the GERC (Conduct of Business) Regulations\, 2004 and Clause 10 of GERC Order No. 3 of 2022 dated 27.06.2022 seeking for direction/clarification that the Petitioners are biomass based generating projects being covered under Intra-State ABT Mechanism do not require to maintain contract demand with the PGVCL and the Petitioners are permitted to draw power from grid for auxiliary power (i.e.\, standby power requirement during plant outages)/start up requirement under Unscheduled Interchange (UI)/DSM as being done in case of other conventional thermal generating stations in the State of Gujarat.
